Alloro, an Italian spot opening on the Upper East Side, Own by Salvatore Corea, Formerly a partner and executive chef at Spiga and Cacio e Pepe and Bocca. This is his first venture with wife Gina, the menu full with some delicious plates, pastas such as fettuccine tossed in white veal ragu, and entrees such as lavender-crusted swordfish steak over a bed of spinach, as well as a lion of lamb in fresh mint reduction with eggplant puree and Pecorino-cheese foam.
